Guest guest
I've been there when my kids were little. Sometimes you just have to do it wheather you feel like it or not. Fake it until you make it as they say. I used to put on music that was up beat and dance with the little ones they liked it and so did I. It is hard to feel sorry for yourself when you are laughing with little ones. Guest guest
hi there well done for making those changes despite a toddler and a baby! changes are not short term and you cant predict illness and run down feelings, but you can get over them and pick up where you left off, or start all over again, why not? after all you have a lifetime to follow and the best changes are those done slowly delibrately and mindlfully, commit to each for just two weeks and they will become a habit, and when i feel like you i start the audios from the begining ( i have done that a few times hehehe) they always feel different everytime, good luck, nr From: ames492 <ames492@...> Subject: RE: Getting back on track weightloss Date: Tuesday, 9 June, 2009, 11:39 PM Hi all, So for the last few weeks I have been listening to s podcasts, exercising everyday and eating healthy, but then I got sick and for the last two weeks I have not done any exercise, I am so tired as I have a baby and a toddler and now I feel like I have certainly gone WAY off track and I am really feeling sorry for myself..... has anyone any suggestions as to how I can get myself motivated again????? Guest guest
Way to go on the shoes. My feet went down a bit too. I can't help you about the surgery question. If you are allowed to get one, I would say go for it if you can eat more than what you are supposed to eat and getting hungry between meals. No matter what your restriction, you are going to be able to eat the wrong kinds of foods. Try to get the dense protein in first is what my nut says. As for the exercise, I do understand that. I have a broken bone in my foot that won't heal and have rotor (rotator?) cuff problems with both shoulders. I've had surgery on both with no luck. I do what I can though. Good luck. Guest guest
Twana, No tough love needed - you're doing just GREAT!! That's cool about the shoes! lol!! You'll remember this probably forever, but not the day you went from - say - 253 to 252. It's the NSV's that make LIFE easier and more fun. So many people focus on scale numbers, but the scale just does not show the most important improvements. It would be unusual to NOT need more than one fill, so I'd consider one asap. Take a look at the document in the files called " When do i need more fill? " to tell more. Another small fill is unlikely to interfere with your surgery at all ...and you can always have it easily taken out if needed. But even the second fill is usually not quite enough. You surely can wait if you'd rather, but I'd personally forge ahead with a bit more fill. Sandy r > > I'm re-reading all the band eating info. Guest guest
You've done well. I wouldn't worry about it, especially since you know you made bad choices. We all do from time to time, we're human. I sure wouldn't be worrying about a fill yet. I can vary as much as 3 pounds a day (always weighing at the same time under the same conditions, namely wake up, pee, and weigh naked on a balance scale). The variation can be by water retention from salty foods, constipation, or other random things. And I don't even have the " monthly cycles " (at least not as much) that many women do. So get back on track. And remember you can blow your plans with soft or liquid calories (alcohol, ice cream, etc, etc). The band will never stop them. Hang in there and don't worry about a fill now. dan Friday, August 7, 2009, 8:40:05 AM, you wrote: > I'm re-reading all the band eating info. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I just got back a few days ago from a 2 week trip to Italy. I planned on sticking to my diet but once I was there I just gave in to cheating. I wish I wouldn't have but I did. So I'm back on all the supplements starting yesterday but I'm wondering if I should just return to my high fat intake or slowly increase it again? I was up to 6 tbls of coconut oil/day for about 2 months prior to going. I can feel the candida out of control right now though. I was eating mainly carbs (lots of pasta and wine). I know this was a major set back but I just want to get back on track now and do it the best way possible. Thank you and I hope all is well.
