Guest guest
Hi Bee, As I mentioned last week I hurt my neck about a month ago now. I went to the chiro yesterday to review my xrays and it looks like I have 6 months ahead of me of treatment to correct my neck/spine. My neck bone is straight versus curved and has started to deteriorate. Because of this…it is causing a lot of pressure on my upper and lower back and my discs are flattening causing the muscle spasms. Anyway…I plan on doing the adjustments only but I guess I just wanted to hear your opinion on how this may slow my progression on your program. Correct me if I'm wrong but because of the injury…I assume my body is under a lot more stress now. Thanks for your thoughts!

I was told by a pain specialist through MRI, and x-rays that I had herniated discs in my neck. I did a lot of research, and herniated discs are not always the cause of pain. Most people get them as they get older. I read that even sneezing can cause them. I am glad I did not apt for surgery. I was eventually told by 2 doctors I had Fibromyalgia. I tried a chiropractor a few years ago. The treatments did not help. This diet, and the coconut oil has helped reduce my pain more than anything else. C. Over the year I learned that I must ensure I get enough calcium, magnesium, and red meat in order to help it. Even now I get a pinched feeling between my shoulder blades when I don't get enough red meat or if I've skipped taking cal/mag. Your body would be stressed more, but I don't believe it will interfere a lot with your progress on this program. The reason is because " proper nutrients " are what heals your body most (and of course eliminating toxins, damaging foods, etc.). I suggest you do regular deep breathing exercises and take daily Epsom salt baths 1/2 hour before bedtime to help your body relax: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath1.php Also put a pack on your neck overnight, soaking a gauze pad or cheesecloth with a 50/50 mixture of oil of oregano and extra virgin olive oil. You can save the pad in a plastic bag and put it in the fridge; just replenish the oil each time. Applying heat to it for awhile will help it penetrate into your neck. All the best, Bee
