Guest guest
Hello, I am new to the whole 'candida healing' and am finding it very overwhelming! There are many 'do's and donts' out there that are very inconsistent. The main question that I have and would greatly appreciate clarification, can you eat nuts on the candida diet? I understand peanuts, cashews and pistachios are out completely, but what about almonds, pine, macadamia and hazelnuts? If anybody has any experiences they could share eg. if they ate nuts and succeeded, or if they could not succeed because they were eating nuts etc. I have already lost almost 2kg from this diet, and cant really afford to lose any more weight- which is why I have included nuts to date. I suffered from anorexia 6-7 years ago and I am afraid of losing too much weight. I would appreciate any assistance. The Candida Food List is specific - it states this under Nuts & Seeds: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foodslist.php All nuts & seeds, except almonds, cashews, peanuts and pistaschios. All nuts & seeds must be raw, & soaked & dried. Weight is the very least of your problems when you have candida, since your body needs to utilize all of the nutrients in order to heal first, before it will put nutrients and energy into building muscles. It is not harmful to lose weight, particularly when you know you are obtaining all of the " proper nutrients " needed to support health and build up your immune system. Also since you've been anorexic in the past your body will be " retracing " it while it is healing, which is according to Hering's Law of Cure - see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal8.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php Your weight will normalize eventually, like me and many others on this program. I'm 5'6 " and weight 133 lbs. I lost tons of weight on my candida program 24 years ago, and at one point in time I was losing 3 lbs. a day. All the best, Bee
