Guest guest
I was diagnosed in Oct of 2001, but had to be put on a waiting list for meds because it was just at the time they were coming out with the pegylated INF. But my wait was only about 20 days, lol... so I started within about 2 months of diagnosis. I was in a hurry because I was stage 3-4 with grade 3 inflammation. it was really munching on my liver so I was truely in a hurry to get going with it.jaxTricia <trishdish13@...> wrote: --- Debbie <momof3militarykids> wrote:> I was wondering if any of you could tell me how long> it took from the > time you were diagnosed until you actually started> treatment? I was diagnosed, a biopsy was set up and once I got the results from that and then the doctor talked me into going on treatment. ****************** tricia SAVE A LIFE https://www.donatelifenw.org/register/ TODAY IS GOD'S GIFT TO YOU, WHAT YOU DO WITH IT IS YOUR GIFT TO HIM ! Guest guest
Barb, I stopped because my husband became extremely ill and I was unable to care for both of us. As it was, the way things were going, my doctor was going to kill me off anyway, so it was likely for the best. I can't answer the if I will treat again, or when, I can just keep my eye on what the future might bring.. Yes, I will need to start over..and yes, all was documented, I do believe I would be eligible.. I am doing okay, the vitamins/herbs do help and my liver is not yet badly damaged, any treatmen doest help.. Sheena Barb <filadogmom@...> wrote: Sheena, I dont know unless I ask so I am going to....You say you failed after almost 2 months of treatment. Does that mean you have to start all over? Will you still be elegible to try treatment again?Just wondering.... Barb Re: time frame I haven't given up all hope and I'm not not stressing, my biopsy was 1/1, my viral load almost 2 million, and I did clear right between weeks 4 and 6. Too bad I couldn't see it through, it was not meant to be just yet, many of us looking to the near future.. Thanks for caring.. Guest guest
I know honey,, well since you are only 1/1, you may decide never to treat,, with a 1 grade,, its NOT moving very quickly and you will probably live a long life with your liver and so just take very good care of yourself!!!Sheena <mom4possums2002@...> wrote: I haven't given up all hope and I'm not not stressing, my biopsy was 1/1, my viral load almost 2 million, and I did clear right between weeks 4 and 6. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I was thinking this morning about how far I may have set myself back after cheating on the diet and not taking my supplements for 16 days. Being it takes one month of healing for every year that we were sick...wouldn't it be safe to say that I most likely set myself back one month then at the most? I guess I'm just trying to gauge how much hard work I lost after being off your program for 16 days. I don't want to overanalyze this too much but I just keep trying to figure it out! Is what I'm saying make sense or does it not work like that? Thanks for your thoughts.
