Hi ,

That's great that you've been following Bee's diet for so long!

You know, you don't have to eat " breakfast foods " for breakfast. Fruit for

breakfast would be a cheat. You can have other things like broth, tuna, meats

and veggies just like you would normally have for lunch or dinner. While eggs

are really good for you, if you are sick of them, take a break. I'm sure after

a few days they will appeal to you again.

so I'd be about half way done the program, another year to go, based on the one

month for every year of your life thing.

I can't stand the taste anymore. Any other suggestions for breakfast on the

diet?

fruit all the time so it's been a tough year, would be nice to have an apple or

banana or something. Maybe a fruit with less sugar than others?

+++Hi . Fruits are one of the worst foods to have - do a search at Dr.

Mercola's site for fructose and you'll see what I mean. Even healthy people

should only have 2 servings a day, and then only with good fats to slow the

release of fructose into the system.

> Also... Bee you mentioned before to take extra B vitamins when you do have an

alcoholic drink. At some point I'm going to want to try having a glass of wine

again (Probably will buy organic, no added sugars or anything) So how many B

vitamins are we talking and when is the time to take them? Before or after?

+++100 mg of B complex about an hour before, and an hour after, with food and

water since they can be hard on the stomach.

Thanks for the responses! I will keep off the fruit. I have some of the bacon

from Whole Foods that I'll just have with some sliced tomatoes or something for

breakast until eggs seem appetizing again.

But I have to say, a year on the diet has exteremly changed my life, I just

would like to have a glass of wine with dinner the odd time, maybe once a month

if that. And it'll definitely be from Frogpond since they're the only

certified organic winery in Ontario.

Thanks!

Mitch

Hi Mitch, Maybe you can switch up the way that you prepare them(scrambled,

fried, egg drink, etc...) This has worked for me.

All the best

Mitch,

Have you considered nut pancakes? I use raw nut flour, egg, organic vanilla

that I get from the healthfood store that has no sugar. I don't use stevia but

you could if you wanted it more sweet instead of savory. You could add onions,

or any veggies. My kids love this treat once in awhile. You could also use

them with meat, and veggies for a sandwich (their round, but hey it works and

the kids are happy)

Hello Mitch,

Is the bacon from Whole Foods Nitrate free? Does it have any sugar?

I've been meaning to go to our nearest Whole Foods to have a look for myself but

it's a bit of a trip, so I thought I'd ask :) I have found bacon without

nitrates but none without sugar, so far...

I miss the flavor.

Thanks!
