Guest guest
Maybe. I know some folks here were talking about how they were no longer being bitten - the theory was, since they aren't eating any sugar, the mozzies aren't interested anymore. Well. All I can say is, I've had no sugar for over a year and the bugs have eaten me ALIVE this summer - until I invested in a natural (essential oil) bug-off measure. Mosquitos loved me, as did spiders and other nasty bitey things. Frustrating! andra > probably explains why we are not getting bitten by mosquitoes. > > they dont like yeast. > > >
Guest guest
Is it possible to buy or order Nystatin Powder with out a perscription? I've had very little luck with doctors and trying to tell them about my yeast/candida issues. 6 years ago I was put on antibiotics multiple times for 2-3 week periods when a doctor told me long term use was needed to fix my sinus problem. Since then I've taking charge of learing about better ways to cure the problems I encounter. I don't have a lot of money and I would hate to spend huge copay only to have a dr tell me he would rather give an antibiotic.

In most countries you must have a doctor's perscription to get nystatin. But I don't believe nystatin is very important for curing candida, and there are natural antifungals that are so much better for you. That is because candida is not cured by " killing it off. " It just doesn't work that way. Candida is only cured by building up the immune system, which is done by: 1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements), 2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and cancer), 3) Eliminating damaging foods, and 4) Eliminating toxins in general. So please ensure you read two important articles, so you understand candida, and know what you need to do and why: 1) How to Successfully Overcome Candida http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php 2) Curing Candida, How to Get Started http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php For encouragement and inspiration see these wonderful Success Stories by members of this group: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/success/index.php The best in health, Bee

I've been of sugar for 2 years now and it's driving me nuts to have these mosquito bites. May I ask what natural bug off product you use and how you use it? I've tried burning bee candles with citronella in them, I've tried keeping essential oils near my bed....but nothing works.... I have the most secure mosquito nets and keep lights off at night....But I need to sleep with an open window to get a lot of fresh oxygen through the night. Guest guest
Hello , I purchased an herbal insect repellent from Mountain Rose Herbs called Bug Out Repellant. It does contain soy emulsifier, so it's probably not ideal, but it's better than almost everything else out there (which is chemical); see this link: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/bathbody/body.php#bod_bug I spray it on when I go outside; I've gotten the spider bites in my sleep but I'm not sure what to do about those. FWIW, I keep the window open at night also but I think my screen is pretty good. A few months ago a number of us were discussing homemade products, if you do a message search you should find these. I was going to try to make some myself but then got lazy If you find something that works (or make it yourself) let us know! Be well, andra > May I ask what natural bug off product you use and how you use it?
