Guest guest Posted August 22, 2009 Report Share Posted August 22, 2009 Hi Bee, I need you to tell me as I am quite sick at the moment and cant figure this out for myself. I am still changing my diet, swapping vita brits and bread(25gdaily) over to low carb veg. I need about 58g of carbs. How much sugar do I need from those veggies, I know it needs to be low, I just need a number to feel safe about the sugar intake, to make sure I have enough and not too little as I have had to change over quickly and dont want to faint. I have blood sugar issues at the moment.(Mostly I am adding up my sugar intake from cauliflower as that has a bit in it) I am also on this diet because I have EBV and sugar/carb intolernace, so thats why I am trying to have just veg-which is low sugar and therefore, low allergenic for me. My candida isnt too bad now, much better, I just need to feel safe with a number of g's for sugar, I know it may not be so much related to the candida diet in this case, but I could really use your help here. Also, can the pancreas become lazy? can that cause blood sugar issues if I havent had much sugar for a couple of years?
