This will help externally and I agree that internal must also be addressed. In my experience with my kids it can just be an external issue and if caught quickly enough need not reflect internally = it can just be a transfer like fleas. A lice comb is great as this will enable egges as well as live guys to be cmbed from the hair. I recall hearing something about the liver being involved. Does anyone know of this or can elaborate why some do and some don't, is it liver function, vitamin deficiency, or what ???? Guest guest Posted May 5, 2004 Report Share Posted May 5, 2004 hi, head lice show up more often these days. my son had caught them in kindergarten some months ago. what we did, was use neem shampoo and neem hairtincture. neem can also be applied for prophylactic use. it disables all sorts of (not only) parasites to proliferate. that means: you don´t kill them, you let them live until they die, which is around two to three weeks after application. they usually lay eggs after 10-15 days, so every day use of neem makes sense in order to make them all infertile. and: parasites don´t like the smell of neem, so when the head is treated with neem, new lice stay away. neem also seems to make hair grow better, thicker, faster. it can even make hair grow, where it was falling out before. in some cases of head lice it is helpful to cut the hair short. in my case, i simply refused to do so. (i had caught them too, because i cuddle a lot with my son) and i have very thick hair, which made it impossible for a lice comb to get thru. i applied neem every day, and got rid of the little sub-tenants. neem can be used in conjunction with coconut oil, coconut oil makes the lice suffocate. maybe it can even be used together withsome drops of tea tree oil. i have never tried this combination, and am not keen on having to try... after all, head lice are pretty yuk!!! by the way: in india neem is also being used as a contraceptive (not by so many people, i guess...). it is applied directly in the vagina and offers two benefits there: it keeps bacteria and fungi away and it is a contraceptive, it inactivates the sperms, that may pass by ;-) have a good day. marlene Head Lice Howdy All, I have been asked a question about Head Lice and why they like some members of a family and not others, even though they have the same hygiene habits, diet, etc... the family in question have 3 children, two have regularly had Head Lice, whilst the other none. She had been to a "questionable location" for a colonics treatment and was obsessed with the possibility of lice afterwards. Sure enough, lice popped up on the test page..............she did NOT have lice, but her mind was consumed with the thought. Guest guest Posted May 19, 2004 Report Share Posted May 19, 2004 Hi Kim I've seen two other instances of this, one was with a person on one of the conferences who had an "issue" with other people smoking and one with a person who had just done some training on cancer and was having an emmotional reaction to cancer. The first one reacted heavily in the test matrix to smoking and smoking remedies and the other had cancer show up several times in the test matrix but nothing in the degeneration program and no cancer virus was present. Just goes to show the power of the mind - one of my spiritual teachers taught me that if we focus on other peoples shortcomings then we will take on some of the karma connected to these shortcomings. Looks like the QX proves it does.
