Subject: Re: Vitamin doses

I am just sharing the info i got from a professional qualified to treat

epilepsy naturally.

Yes, 1,600 iu of vitaminE IS alot for a child,as well as the calcium doses

are high.

That is why i made it clear a child 6-12 is only suppose to get HALF the

doses i had posted, and a child 1-5 only gets ONE FOURTH.

as neuro was involved and agreed the doses posted are healthy.

It is hard to overdose on vitamins.

I do not understand how we can push poison a.e.d's in our childrens mouths

that cause HORRID side effects, then have a problem with vitamins.

If anyone would like sights that explain the outcomes of vitamin depletion

due to a.e.d.'s, please ask, and i will look them up for you.

Alot of useful info

..

..

I just lived through hypercalcemia with my son, watching for not only

seizures but heart failure due to too much calcium in relation to magnesium.

Hypercalcemia is frequently seen with certain cancers. I sweated bullets for

several days over this very unexpected development as Charlie had been

receiving supplemental Mg for quite a while.....

Mark's comments are sound and should be considered.

Grace,

Sounds about right. Just make sure the form of calcium isn't carbonate

(like Coral Calcium) or with magnesium oxide or hydroxide.

Oh man, they are exactly that. Is that really bad or just that it won't absorb

as well as others. What forms do you recommend? Thanks Mark!
