Taurine requires sodium and chloride to cross the blood brain barrier

(paper by Tsjuii and Tamai). Taurine is rich in dairy products so

taking it at the same time should not pose a problem. As for taking it

with or without food, no real opinion there as I don't think it makes a

difference. Increased electrolyte intake aids in taurines utilization

(and I don't mean gatorade or those sugar laden drinks).

I've heard different things about taking taurine w/food...and not taking

taurine w/dairy products. What do *you* think?

Dawn,

Mark actually was involved in the creation of what I think may be the best

Thanks . It is a lifes work. Kitkoski, may God rest his soul,

taught me a lot about electrolytes and then I had to apply it to my epileptic

daughters electrolytes. If anyone has any questions about it feel free to

contact me off list.
