Guest guest
Dear Group: I have not posted here for some time. I used to post so much I think I almost wore out my welcome. Anyway, I missed the opportunity to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas before the holiday arrived. I did not want the same to happen for New Years. So, Happy New Year, everyone! With the coming of the new year comes resolutions - the opportunity to do in 2004 what you meant to do in 2003 but didn't. Well, I would like to encourage everyone to continue to seek answers to whatever unanswered questions they may have concerning their health. And, I encourage you to use the resources of your local public library and the Internet to do it. Several years ago my world was falling apart. Everything was going in the wrong direction - jobwise, financially, socially, you name it. If it had anything to do with my life, it was negative. On top of that, I thought I was physically going to die. Something was drastically wrong with me healthwise and I was totally clueless about what was wrong. That is when I started using the Internet, joined groups like this one and started asking lots of questions. Asking questions on groups led me to asking questions of doctors who had websites. If you need answers to questions about epilepsy, don't discount the most affordable resource that is at your fingertips - the Internet. Please do not hesitate to go online and ask doctors questions regarding your heallth or the health of someone you care about. It just might be the first big step you take in transforming a life for the better - be it yours or someone elses. Take it from someone who spent 34 years on medication for the control of gran mal seizures and is today drug-free and nearly seizure-free. Asking the right people the right questions can tranform a life for the better. This is not fantasy. This is reality. It is what happened to me. And, I believe it could happen to you. 2004 could be your best year, yet. Have a great year! Lamar
