Before assuming anything or coming to a conclusion, regardless the

EEG report, please check out this article from my web page

(http://www.indiana.edu/~pietsch/ras.html). This mom went for years

not knowing for certain what was wrong with her daughter. You can

contact Trudy from her web page (http://www.stars.org.uk/). I urge

you to do so, I think she may be able to help you with the questions

you raised your post today. Below are a few more links for you. I'll

post more abot the EEG in a few days. This must be so stressful for

you. I hope you have some support where you are.

My daughter, , has had a 48hr a sleep deprived and a routine EEG

done. The 48hr and the sleep deprived showed epilepticform activity

eventhough I did not see her have any seizures, her routine EEG didn't

show any epilepticform activity at all, so there's no telling what

exactly they are looking for. I do remember looking at the computer

screen they use for the EEGs and I saw a lot of spikes whenever she moved

or opened and closed her eyes and I wondered how they can tell the

difference between her movements and epileptic/seizure activity.

Just wanted everyone to know the results came back NORMAL!

The neurologist isn't going to continue with further testing unless

or untill he has an additional seizure.

So I think I could finally relax a bit about this now. Hopefully we

won't have to revisit this.

Thanks for all your positive thoughts.

I am very happy for you and I also hope that you won't have to revisit

this. Yes, now you can take a deep breath and relax. God Bless!
