Dr.Pope presented a very promising talk on her use of Naturopathic Medicine to treat many of the triggers for seizures, coping with AED side effects and finding the root causes of the imbalances leading to seizures. I included a review of her lecture handouts in my Report of the conference. Dr.Pope specializes in treating epilepsy and has gained a lot of insights into its problems and treatments. She is located in Toronto, Canada but it may be worth a trip there to see her. Unfortunately I did not actually hear her talk, because I was in another session with Dr.Leo Galland,MD on nitrition and B vitamins--my specialty of sorts.
