Guest guest
Hi Zoe, It's great to see you're still out there trying to do what you can bike riding. Never underestimate the strrong health benefits of physical exercise in the fresh outdoor air. It oxygenates the lings and sends needed oxygen to your brain and all over. Especially as we get older(I'm 62) it becomes even more important to keep moving, if muscles fall into disuse they atrophy and it becomes harder and harder to do what we have to do. I just returned from visiting my parents in Florida for the Jewish New Year holidays. My mother will be 95 in December, but she always avoided physical exercise, taking cars, elevators etc. Now she finds it exceedingly strenuous to walk the 50 yards from her room to the elevator in order to go to the dining room in her assisted living arrangement. You are a tremendous inspiration to us all. I never cease to be amazed and by the gems you turn up in your literature searches on epilepsy and brain function. This board is packed full of tremendous insights and even " discoveries " about our own health. Thank you all for the opportunity to learn so much about epilepsy and related brain function. Best of health and happiness, arnold
