Dr.Bruce West,MD in his newsletter Health Alert, September,2003 wrote about a

new high technology therapy with no side effects. It was developed by Dr.

Mahmoud A.Hai,MD and others. The therapy is done on an an outpatient basis and

takes about an hour. A catheter is inserted towaed the prostate and a Green

Light KTP laser at 80 watts is inserted for about 20 minutes.About 2 millimeter

of

prostate tissue is vaporized eliminating the pressure and structure causing

urinary problems. For many men the catheter is removed the same day, for others

the next day. For about a week nothing much changes, then urinary problems

disappear, flow increases and sex is returned to normal. Tissue is actually

Straight Green light having been used for a long time in Spectrochrome
