Guest guest
Hello, I have had seizures since 1986. They would occur on occassion. When I moved in with my current wife in 1993 they became worse, from nocturnal, pet mal to devastating grand mal seizures. I was put on 8 medications, 3 being Benzos at one time. It wasn't until I started researching and educating myself that I realize this was wrong of my neurologist(s. They even tried to convince me brain surgery was the answer. Since having my silver (mercury based) fillings removed Dc. 4, 2002, my seizures had stop but returned after a high temperatue with the flu. I am now again having nocturnal seizures and I am sure diet plays a part. Since being a member here I have read a lot and one thing of many that has helped me tremendously is realizing that some of what I feel are food alleregies and digestive problems. I noticed after reading one lady's post about her son being allergic to throw pillows that I too would feel seizure symptoms whenever I laid against the throw pillows in my bedroom and the ones on the living room couch. I still always feel sick or small seizure sensations until I stumbled upon an amazing discovery. I put on a surgical mask and noticed that these feelings went away. I really get these symptoms in the living room and kitchen. However, today again, I put on the mask and the feeling went away. Is it possible for me to be allergic or reacting to something in the house. When I mentioned this recent discovery to a friend, they said it could be mold, the carpet, the couch pillows, the couch, etc. There are alot of very toxic things in the house. After all these years I think I may have come upon something that may may be causing these sypmtoms and subsequent seizures. I did have meningitis at 6 months of age. I am know a 49 y/o male. I went through life with no problems up until this. I just spoke with a woman from NY whose daughter is allergic to many items in their house. Now I am even more suspicious.I just hope someone out there can give me some tips and or advice. I sure hate to have to wear a mask in my home, but the again.....I am tired of being sick. Thank you a and anyone else that can give me advice or suggestions as how to resolve these issues.
