Guest guest
Zoe -- Thanks, as always. I will definitely do some research with Sigma Tau. I've been a little wary of carnitine because there have been kids on the keto list who did worse on it. Apparently it lists increased seizures as a possible side effect. It's a very expensive test, but I'm going to ask our family practice doc to order it for her. We're going to test for Hepatitis, just to rule it out and the naturopath we're working with wants a Homocystine (sp?) test to see about her absorption of B6, B12 and folic acid. Re: my " lynching " comment. . .I was probably too strong. I just meant that people who are on the diet (including me) are very pro diet. . .especially instead of meds. I was referring not to her neuro (who would probably take her off the diet and onto a med in a heartbeat) -- but rather to my keot list-mates. Nobody's ever heard of the diet elevating liver enzymes -- but it just makes sense to me that a diet extremely high in fat would be harder on the liver. Anyway, I adore everyone on that list. . .so if you're on the keto list and reading. . .I love you. .. . no worries.--D --- zoe88025 <Zll51@...> wrote: > One link is to Sigma-Tau.
