[ActionGreens] Close Indian Point Nuclear Plant

Hi all,

Let's keep the momentum going to close the Indian Point Nuclear Plant on the Hudson River. There was a tremendous turnout of Greens and others at a public hearing at the Westchester County Center earlier this month. Many Greens including Mark s, Mitch Cohen, Shanklin, Willebrand, and Don Hickok pointed out why the plant should be closed immediately. Everybody can start by going to http://www.closeindianpoint.org/ and signing the online petition. Spread the word to your relatives, friends, and fellow Greens. Write to your local papers. The Greens in Germany have successfully pushed through a plan to close all their nuclear plants. We can do the same even faster. Greens may have diverse opinions on many issues but closing nuclear plants is a no brainer.
