Guest guest
, That is the main reason I did not go to IAHP. Mallorie is only 2yrs. and I also have a son Noah who just turned one. I did the required reading and implemented what I could myself with Mallorie at home. Then I heard about NACD through our ECI coordinator. They have centers all around the country and you don't have to attend a lecture series away from home and children. You listen to a tape series first then apply and then in a few weeks to a couple of months you get to take your child to one of their centers for an evaluation and program. The program usually takes a few hours a day to do. From what I have heard the IAHP program takes about 8 hr. 7 days a week. NACD's founder is Doman Jr., Glen's nephew. He did Mallorie's evaluation himself. Their staff is wonderful and is always there willing to help at any time. Because you have other older children, I think this is a plus! They could be of great help in doing a program with Karly. By the way, IAHP will not let you purchase a mask unless you are a client and have a written permission slip from your doctor. > In a message dated 3/17/01 12:19:22 AM Eastern Standard Time, > Zoe_176@h... writes: > > << > I sent them email also as they had no articles explaining it on > their site. --have you looked intothe institute? > Zoe > >> > > I have sent for information.
