I look forward to hearing your stories and walking through this time

of my life with you!

I remain incredibly thankful for 's website. I believe the

information contained in there is going to save my life.

I'm a 28 year old female with two children who was diagnosed with

hyperthyroidism several months ago. I felt like my entire body was

accelerating, and I was going to burn out. Some of the supplements I

was being given at the time were accelerating it even more, and there

were times I was afraid I wouldn't pull through at all.

My theory about how all of this began started with undiagnosed celiac

disease. In my family, there are patterns of the disease manifesting

itself in early cardiovascular disease, loss of teeth at an early

age, and many other problems.

In my life, discontinuing my consumption of wheat has given me a new

body. I believe that my period of hyperthyroidism is a result of

spending the first 26 years of my life destroying the mechanism of my

body meant to absorb nutrients. The yeast overgrowth in my system

along with a miserable mineral uptake pattern was abruptly reversed

earlier this year when I successfully found a set of things that

seemed to kill the yeast overgrowth in my gut.

I knew something was drastically different, but I didn't know what.

I thought things were getting better, until I started to live my

life " effortlessly " on no more than two hours of sleep regularly each

evening.

A blood test showed I had a low TSH, and normal T3 and T4 levels. My

doctor gave me some vitamins like zinc, selenium, A, C, E and some

other things and it got worse very quickly. I thought I was dying,

and I very well may have been on the path to death. My entire body

was screaming and racing, and there was nothing I could do to slow it

down. I'm 5ft6in, and I'm now a size 3. I thought I'd be a size 6

forever.

I came across 's website after my period began one day. I was

white as a ghost, extremely weak, and breathing was an effort. I was

anemic in both of my pregnancies, so I thought I was having a bad

month or something and needed some iron. I stumbled to the store and

scared the cashier as I grabbed some liquid iron and started drinking

it in the checkout line. It helped though, and I began scouring the

net for more information.

My sense of appreciation for what has posted can not be

understated. He has started me on the path that I am hopeful will

end in successful and complete restoration of health for me.

When I started copper, something happened to my thymus gland. For

the first few days, I felt like I had a lump behind my breastbone, I

was coughing for no real reason, and my body odor was absolutely the

worst imaginable. My hyperthyroid symptoms also started responding,

and I was cautious, but thrilled. " How could this be? " I thought.

People's options for this are rather limited to medication and

surgery. Could a vitamin/mineral re-balancing be enough to fix this?

I started working with a lot of what is on 's website, but found

that I had to start slowly and focus on fixing my thyroid system

(with copper, iron, and sulfur) before I start tinkering with things

like my parathyroid (calcium, magnesium, sodium, boron, lithium,

etc.) system. I'm still trying to figure out the best approach to

fixing my parathyroid system. The ratios are definitely more complex

and tricky.

My days now can be pretty good, but I struggle with the parathyroid

symptoms more than anything else. My muscles can have really, really

bad days but I have to say, it's nothing compared to the bad thyroid

days. My most recent blood test revealed a tsh at a very low end of

normal. Progress is being made. I know it's not over yet, but the

joy of doing better is overwhelming to me sometimes. I have hope.

I've become closer to my body more now than ever. It has it's own

voice, and it sings a beautiful song, it cries, it laughs, and most

importantly, it loves. It's my hope that through this group I can

meet others that need help, and we can grow together and get through

this.
