Guest guest
Unfortunatley I had the RAI before I joined this list. Oh how I wish I had found you first. But, it is done for now. What I would like to know is this, the technician told me that sometimes people get more than one RAI treatment. I had one, now that I know about RAI, and if the first treatment didn't work, can I reject any more treatments, medically speaking. I was hypo and then went to hyper and I have 2 nodules. Does that make my case different? I started taking CoQ10 and will get some flaxseed oil. What else do I need to take to help my immune system and eyes? Also, when I go to the Endo, I will insist on certain blood test. Please let me know what test that I will tell him I want done. Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Have you tried looking for another dr? I don't think this dr really " knows " what he's doing. I would start the search for another dr. Have you been taking ATDs for the hyperT? What symptoms do you have? Sorry for all the questions. But I would start with a dr that " knows " how to monitor ATDs properly. That way you can get your hyperT under control. Best wishes, Kim RAI Question Hi, I had RAI late last year and apparently it hasn't worked. I'm still hyper. Of course, my doc wants me to get a second dose, but I'm not biting this time. Has anyone gone through this and/or has suggestions. At this point I'm willing to do whatever natural alternatives are out there. In addition, I'd like to conceive in the next six months. ________________________________________________________________________ Check out AOL.com today. If you are wanting to get pregnant, you could take propylthouracil. It is an antithyroid drug that you can take while pregnant. I do not know of any natural alternatives.
