Guest guest
Well I saw my rheumatologist today. He is a nice enough man though he seems to believe my symptoms were brought on by the trauma of the surgery itself and not necesarily the implants. He decided we should check all my labs again and see whats going on so I should have the results in a week or so and that will be good. I had one elevated ANA titer but it was rechecked and came out fine about 9 months ago, so it should be interesting to see how it is now. He gave me a prescription for some oxycontin which is pretty strong, for pain relief, it is long lasting, so I won't have to take so many pills when I have a flare. I am doing ok, hanging in there. Can't wait to see my honey on the 22nd..... My breasts are looking so much better, seems to be fading allot everyday, the mederma really seems to help so I highly recomend it to anyone with fresh scars, and I think it even works on old ones to. Anyhow. Hang in there everyone...things get better. Love PS Jackie I am proud of you, you set a date, that is great. You will be fine, it will be tough at first but it truly gets better, and you know you just might be surprised after a few months at how much better you will feel, and even look. Well have a great night ladies.
Guest guest
Thank you for the encouraging words. I was pretty scared at first and even contemplated putting it off until the end of the summer but over the weekend I had time to think things out just by myself and realized I want my health so bad that I really wish I could have the explant done right away. Damn my PS for being so busy! I'm hanging pretty good with the energy levels as long as I stick to a really strict diet of absolutely no sugar. I swayed this past week and have noticed a decline in energy so back to the ole drawing board for me but thats ok. At least I'm catching it before I end up bed ridden again. I'm really happy that your accepting yourself . I know in my heart I am ready to accept myself without the implants. So your seeing your sweetie on the 22nd eh? How long will you be gone? Take care and will talk with ya soon. Jackie ----- Original Message ----- From: carrie_martinez64@... Sent: Monday, March 12, 2001 8:27 PM Subject: Latest Well I saw my rheumatologist today.
