Hi Bridget

My daughter had a pituitary tumer removed surgically about 5 years ago.

She has done very well since the

surgery. She was unable to tolerate the medications that she was on for

it so chose to go that route. I

don't know a lot about it - she wanted to be 'private' and was newly

married. But I do know for her

surgery was a wonderful answer to a very difficult problem for her. She

was told there was a strong probability that the tumor would come back

but so far it hasn't. She has bloodwork done annually now and has a cat

scan every 2 years.
