Guest guest Posted March 10, 2001 Report Share Posted March 10, 2001 Hi Ladies, Just because I've been up late tonight trying to get 'caught up' with many BI related issues & emails, I discovered a show on CBS, which I've never seen before, and the name of it is "Every Woman". The website address they gave was: Entertainment.com, for further information. I hope some of you will watch for this late-night show, and you will see why I feel we could possibly have an impact with our issues on this show. It came on at 1:00 am, Sunday, yet it was well worth staying up for. We must quickly get to work to try to keep McGhan's 'Silicone' Implants from being approved by the FDA in the next few months of this year. I am personally working with the NOW group, yet everthing has to go through so many chanels with them, that this issue may not get on their agenda 'before' McGhan gets their approval. I wish all of you could have been with Rod & I, and Craig & Ava in Austin this past weekend to hear what Congresswoman Sheilah Lee had to say about many women's issues. You would have been inspired to write, fax, call all your state & federal representatives to insist we get things the way we want them --- Yet, it's only possible when we focus & unite together on these issues! I will send a list to all of you regarding what NOW needs from us, to get our issue back to the forefront of the matters they are working on, and hope to have "whatever it takes" for you to agree to support these issues to keep the Breast Implant Issue in the Forefront of the American & Foreign public!
