Guest guest
Hi , You are likely hyperT. You need to get the lab results: Free T3, Free T4 and TSH. If you need to get more info regarding diagnosis, you should have a TSI test, test for TPO-antibodies, and an ultrasound. If you plan to go on antithyroid drugs to control the hyperT, then you need to get a baseline for WBC and liver function tests. Do not expect your doctor to order these specific tests; you need to make sure they are done. It is important to be informed about this disease and its treatment. Please go to Mediboard.com and begin with the Thyroid Awareness 101 thread: http://www.mediboard.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=004549 Best wishes, At 08:22 PM 10/22/2004, you wrote: >Here's my symptoms: >- no menstral cycle >- extreme fatigue >- concentration problems >- achey neck if I talk too much >- pressure in my neck- sometimes it takes a minute to open my airway >- headaches >- weight loss (10 lbs in 4 weeks) > >I cannot get in to see an endo. until Nov. 17th.
