I have learned alot from reading your posts today, the first being I

should know what my blood tests turned out. I was told two weeks ago

that my brain should be saying " whoa let me off " .( From the Dr). I have

been off Tapazole since June of this year and have had tons of

problems, including stomach problems. They are sending me to a upper GI

specialist Jan 10th. I have been thru gallbladder tests, ER visits, and

other problems just to be told it was all in my head, so was treated

with antidepressants as well. All the while knowing it wasn't in my

head. I have stopped the antidepressants, beacuse I couldn't function

on them and found out last week that the Tapazole is being recalled and

was switched to Propthiouracil 50mg four times a day and taking a med

for elevated blood pressure as well and water weight and a stomach med.

While I feel a bit better than I did, I feel in the dark as to what is

happening, which is what drew me to this site. I have had eye problems

as well, with aching and dryness and protrousion, overall tiredness and

over the last 6 months I had a huge weight gain. Any insight here would

be greatly helpful. I am concerned that another Dr will only lead to

more medications, and I have some ideas that if is not the gallbladder

it is something in that area, giving me a great deal of pain. Two week

ago I insisted on blood tests after getting very ill and vomitting for

three days and with the upper stomach area in a great deal of pain. I

was never called on those blood tests and went in to see the Dr to tell

him I had started to take the tapazole again on my own, he said yes you

should have been taking it. It appears that the Dr haven't appeared to

be worried at all to this point. I know I can feel the changes and it

has affected my life style. After reading some of the posts this is

very concerning to me. Any ideas here?
