I cannot begin to tell you how loudly our voices would be heard, in our own states, and at the national level, if everyone would just educate themselves re how to get 'Bills' shoved through at both state and federal levels. It's really not that hard because those who are doing these things 'for you', don't know what the h**l they are doing. Those trying to make changes in the insurance laws are not 'experts' in medical, life, disability, and dental insurance laws. Those trying to make changes in "Informed Consent" Laws don't know enough about what we know to present an appropriate "Informed Consent" law. And it all continues into many areas of Health & Human Services within each state. Each of you in different states need to find out who is in this particular department within your state, get to know them, then ask for a copy of their budget for 2002! Get back to me, then I'll tell you what to do from there. Main thing you need to look for in Heath & Human Services is what are the percentages of matching funds from Federal to State Level.
