Guest guest
Hi Gayle and Everyone, So you took the plunge and stopped coffee? That's great! The recovery might be around 2 weeks so be patient. Also reducing the zinc also seems to reduce energy. Maybe you could increase the zinc some and next month not drop it so much. Somewhere is a happy balance of energy without hyper symptoms. Tiredness isn't all that bad especially if the palpitations are gone. Sometimes I think our relentless drive to increase our energy is what gets us on the path toward hyperT. Be careful with the iron. Too much iron seems to deplete copper. Disregarding the coffee issue, I would think that low energy would be more a result of low zinc than low iron. If you look at your zinc/copper ratio it's pretty low. Getting that up closer to 5:1 would probably give you more energy. As I recall you were telling us about the high amounts of sulfur in your air there. Maybe that information about the sulfur was of interest to you. It seems that although sulfur is important, too much without adequate copper can be a problem. Also excess sulfur may be depleting your molybdenum. Low zinc can definitely cause hair loss too, since zinc deficiency causes skin and nail problems too. Providing you're getting all the other hair nutrients, then low zinc is the most likely problem. Let us know what happens. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
