Hi Raven,

I have a goiter that often changes in size, but I notice the size difference

more like weekly than hourly. I also have one side that is larger than the

other and it is painful when I touch it. When I told my doctor about the pain

and the difference in the one side compared to the other he immediatley wnated

to do a biopsy and I let him. My results came back indeterminate and the whole

cancer fear set in. It was a horrible experience and if I had to do it all over

again I wouldn't. So now I don't touch my goiter so it doesn't hurt (I had

heard that by touch something like a goiter repeatedly you might create another

problem or stimulate the thyroid even more). I figure that my goiter will go

away when it is time to and not a minute before Ithink that will also be a

signal that I am well or nearly there.

Good Luck,

Ann
