Yes I just was told about this stuff called noni juice and it is

supposed to do all sorts of things, anyway it is supposed to help you

absorb nutrients and I have a whole booklet on it. I am going to get

some from my boyfriend in Idaho when I go there, but it is supposed

to work for all kinds of things. There is a link for a website on it

as well I will send it to you. Has anyone else heard of it?

I would recommend Nystatin oral solution 5cc 3 times a day for 6 weeks and a

diet avoiding wheat and dairy. You can be tested for gluten or wheat

allergies with a blood test but these allergies are a result of intestinal

candidiasis. Aloe gel can be healing to the intestine and cleansing as

well. If this doesn't clear it up, try digestive enzymes with meals.

,

Lacey in Texas (she's writing a book called " Dying for Cleavage--How

Millions were Harmed in the Silicone Scam " ) has only good things to say

about Noni juice. She had silicone gel implants, and they ruined her health

and life as well as that of her daughter, who also has connective tissue

disease when 's implant ruptured while she was breastfeeding.

says the Noni juice has helped alleviate many of her symptoms. She is

still ill, but she says it helps.

I haven't tried it yet.....slow I guess. Probably because I heard it tastes

like crap and I already have a hard enough time getting down my aloe vera

juice!

Dr. Kolb beat me to this one. : ) I am glad that she did!

I won't add too much more to what she posted, but I do think that allergies

are something that needs to be seriously considered when dealing with the

digestive system. So many times it is very unclear just what we are reacting

to, and I think there are many, many subclinical food allergies out there

not being dealt with.

Fasting has helped me tremendously.

Avoiding wheat and dairy is probably the best advice. I KNOW that I react

to dairy products--I get a swelling in my nasal passages, although my

allergy testing did not show this one for me. Allergy testing can tell you

some things, but it can't tell you everything, and you are better off trying

to learn what you are reacting to yourself by using an elimination diet.

An IgE response to foods is a classic allergy, which is a permanent allergy

to a particular food. In a strong reaction, you will have immediate

evidence, such as asthma or hives. Milder IgE reactions might give you

headaches or foggy thinking. Avoiding the food item will allow your

antibodies to that food to drop significantly within a short period of time,

but shoot right back up when the food is reintroduced, making it necessary

to avoid the food for life.

Delayed allergies, which is an IgG response, may come and go in cycles. IgG

allergies usually result from eating too much of something too frequently,

and you will get delayed symptoms, such as joint pain, muscle pain, chronic

headaches, and fatigue. These may be hard to pinpoint, because the reaction

can occur hours or days after eating a particular food, and the reactions

can be subtle or severe, AND lead to chronic, degenerative conditions. The

good thing about delayed food allergies is that if the food item is avoided

for a period of 3 to 9 months, the antibody level to the food may decrease

to the point that they can be tolerated in small amounts, and so won't have

to be avoided for life. (This is my chocolate allergy, so I have hope....)

For irritable bowel syndrome, the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine states

to:

1) get more fiber, (but avoid wheat bran. Use oat bran or psyllium seed

husks)

2) eliminate allergic foods,

3) get rid of stress, anxiety, and depression

4) use some herbal remedies, including ginger and peppermint, valerian,

chamomile, and rosemary.

Glad you are beginning to feel better, ! I hope you can nip these

digestive troubles in the bud.
