Guest guest
, I noticed that my organic oat bran breakfast cereal provides 25% of the recommended daily requirement of zinc. Do other foods contain zinc so that I can take the copper without the zinc tablets? Secondly, could it be that some of us eat foods with adequate amounts of these minerals but our bodies don't make optimum use of them? Is that what Dr. is referring to? Is that why we must take the copper and zinc tablets to ensure that our bodies get at least some of those minerals in our system? Many people with hyperthyroidism also have digestive problems (bloating, gas, stomach pains, etc). One acupuncturist I worked with recommended enzymes. I wonder if digestive problems would prevent vitamins and minerals from being put to good use in our bodies, unless we take large quantities of them. What do you think? ______________________________________________________________________
