Hello ,

I became a member of your group about a week ago and have really

enjoyed the letters back and forth between you and other members. I

was diagnosed with hypothyroidism two years ago and have been on

Synthroid ever since. In retrospect I can see that my thyroid

problems started many many years ago (I am now 48 years old), most

probably in my early teens. At any rate, I want to thank you for

starting this group and for the outstanding information you are

providing.

Please bear with me in that it has only been recently (unfortunately)

that I have begun to seek a healthier lifestyle, and adopt a more

self-healing approach to health problems. Thus, my stumbling upon

your article in Natural Health. You mentioned in your e-mail today

once again the importance of getting all the proper minerals (and I

assume vitamins, etc.), but I'm not sure what they are. There seems

to be a very great disagreement between who you speak to about what

the body actually needs. Do you have something you could share with

me on what you feel are the necessary minerals, vitamins, etc., that I

could use as a reference in changing my nutritional habits?

Again, thank you for you what you are doing. I am very optimistic

that I can get control of my life and my health and it is very

encouraging to hear from people like you who are doing the same thing.
