Guest guest
, I did post to the list a question about wether I should remain on the list or not because I'm not hyper- I am hypo- or are you going to cover that too. I don't have too many problems, except a little increase in heartbeat, sometimes, and sleeplessness, at times. Maybe, I just don't know what to look for, seeing that i have irritable bowl syndrome, the beginning to menopause, and a few other problems.....what should I do ? Guest guest
Hi - You are giving me hope! Just a few questions - Should a small person take the same amount of copper, zinc, etc as a large person? What form is best? I am taking Sogar chelated copper. Have been taking just one per day (2.5) for two weeks so far and see no change. I will up the dosage. My nails became brittle and all broke or peeled after I began the copper. Is this coincidence or is it because I still don't have the mineral balance right? I fit perfectly the description you sent yesterday: lots of fruit, vitamin C and I use soy milk. However, my symptoms began before I started with the fruit and soy milk. I only was taking large amounts of vitamin C (for several years) when the rapid heart rate started to be noticeable (fast pulse and higher blood pressure). I was also supplementing with zinc. When I went to the health food store to buy the copper, the proprietor didn't want to sell me trace minerals because he thought the copper in the trace miinerals would be too much with the chelated copper I was buying. What form should I use for the trace minerals? What does the calcium/magnesium do for the heart rate? Do you suggest kelp for the iodine and do we need this iodine? My dad has always had a fast pulse. Can this be hereditary? His isn't as fast or bothersome as mine. Thank you for the information. At least I now have a direction to take. Before I was totally at a loss. ______________________________________________________________________
Guest guest
, Sorry it's been so long since I've replyed to any of your great postings. I've been away, plus, this time of year we are in the woods, on a lake in the middle of Maine. No electricity or phone. My computer is set up in our hanger about 45 minutes away. Thus, my online time is rather limited . Question on your suppliments. Do you take additional zinc, calcium,ect... at the amounts you listed, beyond what you recieve in your multivitamin and trace minerals? or do you factor that amount into your given totals? For your records, prior to your postings, I was taking: Kirkland Mulitvitamin 1 per day (purchased at Costco) GNC Vit C 4000mg per day Calcium Sup 1000mg per day (no Magnesium) Zinc 40mg per day Ginkgold 80 mg per day Vit E 800mg per day (purchased at Costco) Since June I've also been taking Trace Minerals 4 per day and Tracemineral Transcend 3 per day. I started on the Tapazol 10mg twice a day the end of July. I've noticed about a 50% reduction in my goiter size since then. I've experienced no adverse reactions from the Tapazol. I still experienced Palpitations with any areobic exercise. 2 weeks ago, I altered my regime to your suggestions: I now take: Trace Mineral and Multivitamin combo 4 a day Trace Mineral Transcend 3 a day Vitamin C 500mg per day Copper 8mg per day (Solrays) Kelp 2 tabs per day (Solrays) Calcium and Magnisium Sup (Solrays) 4 per day Chromium Pic 1 per day (Solrays) Tapazol 10mg twice a day. I don't have my bottles at the hanger with me at this moment to give you the amount of Vit C, Vit E, ect... that are contained in my multivitamin. I can tell you I am feeling like I have SO MUCH more energy I've always been a high energy , active person. But as I'm sure we've all experienced, those palpitations put a major crimp in things. Yesterday, I had a need to run about a half a mile quickly. That doesn't sound like much, and it's not, but I'm so excited that I was hardly winded, and didn't experience ANY palpitations. Before, ANY aerobic activity set me off. I feel like I have my life back again! Our daily routine use to envolve starting our day with a 5 mile speed walk. It then went to a 5 mile slow walk. We can now resume our life again!! My last levels in August showed a nice reduction in my T3. I'll be excited to see what this month shows!! , thank you so much for all your hard work, and for taking the time to share with the rest of us!! I really think we're on to something here!!! Take care. Vivian ______________________________________________________________________
