Hi Everyone:

I found that Lecithin is good for stomach problems related to hyperthyroidism.

I take 3 capsules per day. Each contains 555 mg oil based soy lecithin. One is

taken before breakfast, one at lunch and one before dinner. It is important to

take Lecithin before you eat as it aids in digestion of fats and protects the

lining of all cells and organs. You can take the granules and sprinkle them

over a fruit bowl, vegetables and etc. Prescription for Nurtritional Healing

recommends 1,200 mg 3 times daily before meals. One word of caution, if any

of you women have fiber cystic breast disease, as I do, be careful to reduce

your intake of Lecithin as it contains soy, which is also estrogen. Excessive

estrogen for people with fibercystic breast disease and current and previous

cancer of the breast, uterus, cervix, ovaries need to exercise caution in the

amount of lecithin used as it can fuel cancer in these areas if excessive

amounts are taken. Some studies indicate that.

I use the lower dose to be on the safe side. It has helped my nausea and it

is good for reducing blood pressure and artherisclerosis. Often times, people

in thyroid storms will experience increased blood pressure.

Also, essential fatty acids helps to correct glandular function. Hope this

helps.

Hi Everyone Again:

I kind of contradicted myself about the Lecithin. I told you to take it before

meals and then I said to sprinkle the granules on fruit or vegetables. I was

thinking more of the capsules and did not think about the fact that not too

many people would care to take granules by the spoonfuls into their mouths.

OOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Obviously, if you are taking granules, you would have to

put them on something. In that case, this particular preparation would have to

be put on food and eaten. I think in either case, the results would be the

same.

Sorry for the confusion.

:)
