The Merck Manual is one of the very best medical references available.

It is often referred to as " The Doctor's Bible, " though I believe this

reference was one made in the earlier part of this century. It is a

thourough and easily understood reference and is a valuable addition to

any medical library. There is an " inter-active " edition available on

line that can be downloaded. This is the text version.
