oh yeah, forgot to mention, welcome to our little corner,,,, this is a

WONDERFUL sources of info sharing, venting, and much more.... I couldn't find a

better crowd... and I don't think you will find another,, did someone tell you

about another group strictly for parents of deaf child? I don't know the

site but hopefully someone will.

Hi Lee,

Welcome to CiHear. I'm new to this list myself. I have found it to

be full of wonderful people who try their best to help. I'm sure you

will feel the same.

My son Peyton is going to have his CI surgery on Dec. 8. I know how

you feel right now trying to get the information and support that

you need. The best advice I can give you is to read everything that

you can get your hands on. Then ask a million questions. There are

many resouces available to you also. If you go to links on this site

it will give you a place to start. I also have read many of the

archives on this list. I found answers to things I wanted to know

that had been asked before.You might want to check there too.
