Guest guest
This is surely to bring up questions of true legitimacy. But I thought I would mention it for anyone wanting to try it, to see if there something to this in treating autism. His name came highly recommended from a DR who had seen my son, and thought it might be helpful for my son. This man actually is using an ancient Chinese teaching, to treat children with autism/other disabilities. No medications/herbs, no shots/ needles, etc... Nothing invasive. Because my child is like his " project " I really don't know what the long term out come will be on this, only that I know its made some good changes in his behavior. I would like to mention one thing very unusual, was the use of a GONG. He actually had my son listen to a tape of a GONG being played. It about puts me to sleep listening to it. However it was enough to slow my son down to a normal peaceful little boy, it is amazing that it works like that without drugs! We have done auditory integration in the past and it helped some but for my son it didn't last. Some of the things he can test for, is to see what therapies would be of benefit. We went thru about 50 to check, at least save some money in that direction, and to see what vits, minerals, digestive supplements, dietary, etc.. might help. check for mercury exposure, other metals, etc.. To see if chelation will be helpful, etc... If a gene is turned on that is affecting a child to have autism, he says the gene's can switch on and they can be switched off. Many genetic defects can be carried over to our children that both parents have, weakness from Viral infections, disease carried down from our relatives. As well in today's world we are dealing with so many greater environmental factors, that didn't exist 100 yrs ago. Guest guest
Yes, the area code is for Okla. however the man travels all over the US teaching and treating, that is his home base. He is American Indian and apparently grew up in s Valley, OK. A " Gong " is a brass instrument that is round and you hit it like you would a drum. My husband and I have been also listening to the tape as well. At first it was uncomfortable the first few minutes, but as you continue to play it, its very calming. I have been playing it at night for my son, after he is asleep. My husband being very much a skeptic requests the tape be played now every night before retiring, as he even feels better. I suspect you can play the tape of the Gong as much as you like a day, as it is very beneficial. No headphones needed to, just play it with the volume up loud. According to history in the country of India; they will place children in front of a someone playing a live Gong whenever a child was born with any disability. They may do this for many hours at a time, for many weeks. And then I guess when the child seemed to be more integrated they would go back home. I should have asked Randy what books would explain this better, I just went out and bought a book on Vibrational Medicine, since what he calls this work is Energy Medicine. No drugs are used, nothing to take internally, no shots, nothing! I also wanted to mention that the changes are subtle, but for the first time my son sat alone without fighting getting his haircut yesterday; it was like a different child. I will continue to give up dates of any importance. > > > Would you PLEASE explain more about what is GONG? Is > it a kind of musical instrument? Guest guest
This is just one website I came across that might explain Energy Medicine, I haven't even read thru it at this time. Thought I would pass it on. Click here: The Energy Medicine Institute - Advancing the Field of Energy Medicine
Guest guest
Well, here’s a question. Mark(3 ½ yrs.) and (15 mths.) are doing hard chamber HBOT at 1.5 for 60 minutes(not including pressuring up and down). has autism, and is slightly developmentally delayed. We’re just being proactive with . They’re doing 40 treatments. We’re supposed to be doing five days a week, and six when there’s an open slot on a Saturday. I just stumbled on some stuff that says Dr. Bradstreet’s study says 75 to 90 treatments in a 30 period to really show efficacy for the child. Once that is established, then a little lighter treatment protocall is used. Here’s the situation. If we’re doing five days a week only once per day, that’s not finishing the 40 treatments within a 30 day window. We also may have some days we’d have to reschedule due to work schedule, transportation issues, ect. We already had to do that one day last week because I couldn’t get a sitter for my other kids. Is this going to decrease the kids’ chances of great improvement if we can’t get 40 sessions done in 30 days? I’d hate to think I’m spending all that money, and not get much result from it. Guest guest
I would not push the children that hard, I would take five to six weeks, Normally I ask the mother to call me if the children are very tired or sleepy to only do one treatment daily. If the child is doing daily 90 min treatments I would only give them one. HBOT is an immune suppressant and a immune stimulant. therefore you must see if what works well for each patient. So I normally say: for every two 90 min treatments it counts for three 60 mins. I try to allow the patient to become so comfortable at equalizing their ears that we are able to put the headtent on at a more shallow depth and go down with 02 and up to the surface with 02, that way he/she passes through all the atmosphere pressure for greater benefit. I don't start the clock until they are at depth and on 02 [ ] Autism treatment Well, here's a question.
