This show was actually broadcast as part of the McCuistion Report not " the Mc Quistion Report. " However, since this show was broadcast on a Public Broadcasting System (PBS) channel, which is financed by public funds (thus Public Broadcasting System), how is it and why is it that you would have objections to greater members of the public having access to this broadcast via a much more accessible medium, ie, YouTube? 2. I'm a member of the public and would very much like this video to be publicly available--especially since I've already paid for it--as have millions of other members of the American public. 3. You said, " Dr Harch?had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the development, formulation, or the making of this program except for his participation. " Since Dr. Harch " had ABSOLUTELY nothing " to do with the video in question, why then is it freely available on Dr. Harch's web site at harchhyperbarics.org. Why does Dr. Harch have permission to post this video, and I do not? 4. As president of the American Association of Hyperbaric Awareness (AAHA), I would think you of all people--as president--would most want more AWARENESS of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. So why do you want the video removed? 5. Do you or AAHA have something to hide? (Besides the antics of AAHA VP Tom Fox.) 6. I just noticed the signature of your email above: > >e Creacy > >President > >American Association for null Awareness " null Awareness. " Does this mean AAHA is now AAnA? Is this why you want the video removed? Nor do any personal achievements your CV (or Dr. Gordon's) may or not contain exclude you (or Dr. Gordon) from answering the questions I have a legal right (and responsibility) to ask. I've never thought Dr. Harch had anything to do with the McCuistion Report beyond his appearance as a guest. I know Samir Patel and have always regarded him as a trusted friend. I am not on his payroll/the Oxyhealth payroll. My son's quality of life was permanently improved via Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). He is a Georgia Medicaid recipient due to his disablity, and under Federal the Medicaid law for children (the EPSDT statute), he has a legal right to off-label HBOT. We have been in a legal dispute with Georgia Medicaid since 1999 and Georgia Medicaid recently conceded the data we provided them with in 1999 proves (1) HBOT corrects his brain-injury and (2) he needs further HBOT. In the interim, I created a group in 2001 ( .com) to help other parents utilize EPSDT to access HBOT for their own children. Between 15-20 states have changed their Medicaid policy as the result of parents, which includes a half dozen or so court decisions. However, there are numerous institutional entities--including the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), United Cerebral Palsy (UCP), American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM), American Academy of Neurology (AAN), Child Neurology Society (CNS), CMS via Medicare, and others--who are actively looking for and will utilize any questionable activity or action by the " off-label HBOT community " as a reason to not reimburse and/or mainstream HBOT. Such actions or activity would therefore impact my son's quality of life. The International Hyperbaric Medical Association (IHMA) went into hibernation a number of years ago. The International Hyperbaric Association (IHA) is perceived to be an extension of Oxyhealth, and that leaves the American Association for Hyperbaric Awareness (AAHA) as the only HBOT organization that is (hopefully) independent. Again, no one was more surprised than I was when Mrs. Creacy demand that I remove the PBS video from YouTube. All I was trying to do was bring AWARENESS of HBOT to the public at large. I thought that was the purpose of AAHA. Before I had time to react, Mrs. Creacy somehow found the power to have it removed. In review of the entire episode, I have stated and continue to state that Mrs. Creacy must be selling copies of The McCuistion Report, which is illegal as per a personal and cordial conversation I had with The McCuistion Report's Executive producer, Niki McCuistion--who has since given me permission to repost the broadcast on YouTube. As I explained earlier in my email to the only other AAHA board member, you boys are on the hook for whatever behavior or misbehavior Mrs. Creacy engages in. At the same time, I have a responsibility to my son and to hundreds, perhaps thousands of other parents whose hard-fought right to HBOT for their children could be jeopardized by whatever potential criminal activity Mrs. Creacy/AAHA might be engaged in. I therefore will do whatever I can do to clean things up and keep them clean. If you won't answer the questions I've set before you (or are unwilling), then you can just provide answers to the same questions to officials of the Internal Revenue Service. It doesn't affect my CV one way or another. 1. When did AAHA become a 501 ©(3)? 2. My understanding of 501 ©(3)'s is that they must allow memberships. Guest guest
you should no that you can't file a 990 when you recieve those funds and pay your house payment and taxes and personal expenses. But IM sure they are legal by doing that of course the president would no that family vacations with the donations that came in would be a write off as well right. Of course none of this would be of interest to the people at the United States Department of Defense. Because they no the funds are going to pay house payments personal expenses and vacations.
