This is very shocking news.

Has Max been followed by a physician throughout the time he's been

doing hyperbaric oxygen?

Does the MD have experience with HBOT?

Have you kept records of his treatments? Do you know how many

treatments he's received? What has been his pressure protocol? Have

you taken breaks? How often and for how long?

I know these are a lot of questions, but if there's a way to share

Max's experience(s) with others, this sort of tragedy can be avoided

in the future.

Hi Everyone,

I have received quite a response for our Sechrist. I hope no one minds but I

am going to post a general email to all of you have inquired instead of

contacting each of you. If you are still interested by all means I will be happy

to speak with you.

year:1981

cycles: 4692

PVHO# 2500B57 (I think, it doesn't say PVHO, but it's the only number I see)

Inspected fall of 05

Price: $52,000

Obviously we have the evaporators, etc.

I feel I need to explain the price. We are not trying to make money. When we

bought the chamber we took out a 2nd mortgage on our home to pay for the chamber

and to build an addition on our home for the chamber. We are still in debt from

this decision. We need to be able to pay this off and would not make a dollar

more. This has been a great stress the past few years but we would do it all

over again, in a heartbeat. We are willing to negotiate but hope you can

understand our perspective. Not to mention, we bought it from Reimers, not a

discount dealer. The chamber has run great for us all along. The acrylic is in

very good condition.

I truly hope this chamber goes to someone who is involved in HBOT to with a

passion to help people and children like Max.

Thanks for your interest.

Sorry, I meant to include that. We are in Elkhart IN, near South bend/Notre

Dame.

I will try to send a photo tomorrow, my program is not working right now.

Thanks

Hi and all,

PVHO went into effect around 1978. However, Sechrist continued to

build their chambers without the PVHO stamp on it until about 1983.

The chamber you have was built in that time period. It is basically

grandfathered (and there are still quite a few chambers from that

time period out there, including in hospital use). Therefore, you

will not be able to find any mention of PVHO on the manufacturer's

plate.

Just my 2 cents,

Sunny
