Guest guest
The American Association of Hyperbaric Awareness is saddened to announce the death of Dr. A. Neubauer MD. A Pioneer in Hyperbaric Medicine. His insight and direct involvement in the field of Hyperbaric Medicine can be seen as directly responsible for the evolution of this field into a discipline within mainstream medicine. His life's work touched each and every one working in the field today. His passion though was special children and family members whose lives were changed by devastating neurological injuries. When traditional medicine said to these families you need to accept what is. Dr. Neubauer had the courage to say let's look at what could be. In doing so he changed the lives of tens of thousands of patients for whom traditional medicine offered no hope. In so doing he improved the quality of life of those he treated, those that knew him and those that knew of him. The world is certainly a better place because of the insight he imparted to us and the legacy he leaves us. Dr Neubauer was one of the founding members of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. Most recently he helped to found the American Association for Hyperbaric Awareness and served on its medical advisory board. His presence in this role will be sorely missed. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
