Guest guest
Hi Gill, I don't have an answer to your question, but maybe you can help me with some questions I have; because I would have to pay out of pocket for HBOT treatments for TBI, I'm considering going out of the country for treatment. There is a list of sites and prices on line, but because of the devaluation of the US dollar I think they're out of date. Do you know the names and locations of the reputable treatment centers in Australia? Is it possible to find housing for four weeks besides staying in a $200 a day hotel room? Anyone who knows the answers to my questions, for Australia or New Zealand, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thanks in advance, Duluth, MN Gill Palmer <gillbelle@...> wrote: Hi I wonder if you know of anyone working on the system here in Australia to get Medicare to cover HBOT for more thatn 5 things? Guest guest
Dear What about the United Kingdom? UK treatment costs are $20 per hour of treatment but the Sara's Garden recommendation look like a very, very good offer. Guest guest
Thanks for the information, . I wasn't aware of Sara's Garden, and I've now checked their website and will give them a call. I will also check out the UK options. If I need to spend a month away from home, well, I've been to Ohio....Maybe a month of rainy weather in the UK would be an OK change of pace from Duluth's winters. Americans these days are becoming actually intelligent about restricting smoking in public places. What are the non-smoking policies in the UK? best regards, Fox- <xristlin@...> wrote: Dear What about the United Kingdom? Guest guest
Hi Judy, Thanks for the information; I wasn't aware I could have a place to stay, free. That makes a huge difference in the cost of treatment. Guest guest
$20. I think the current exchange rate is at about $2.09 = £1. After today's news about the collapse of Citibank it is likely to climb higher. So let's call it $2.06 x £10 = $20.60 per hour of treatment. In my youth when working on the Cunard ships as an Assistant Purser we got $3 to the £. When Britain ruled the waves it was $5 to the £. I note on the Stock Market that bank shares everywhere are dropping.
