Locally in the Dallas Tx/ Forth Worth Area you can see the show on Sunday April 29th at 1pm on PBS Channel 13. Current initiatives the AAHA is working on include: The invitation to and participation in the Congressional Brain Injury Task Force and Round Table Discusions held the 13th of March. Discussions regarding traumatic brain injury, the signature injury in the War on Terror, were held with Congressional leaders and high ranking military officers on Capitol Hill. Members of the AAHA delegation which included a multi-specialty group of physicians and officers were invited for the fourth consecutive year to represent hyperbaric oxygen as perspective therapeutic option to this devastating injury with life altering consequences. Through the work of the American Association for Hyperbaric Awareness we intent to make this therapeutic option available to all with Traumatic Brain Injury. Active and ongoing followup to these discussions is being done. As the awareness of this therapy and exposure to individuals who have undergone Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for neurological injury continues to grow, we look forward to the full and complete integration of this therapeutic option into those that are routinely considered for neurological and specifically traumatic brain injury. Best regards, Tom Fox Vice President for Operations American Association for Hyperbaric Awareness (Please ensure the widest distribution) ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone.
