Guest guest
Hi all: Well, I guess I overdid it too soon. I'm not in real pain, but my chest muscles get sore when I try to sit here & type or use my arms too much. So, I'm NOT going to work tomorrow (my job requires me to sit & type all day). I have my doc appointment on Tuesday afternoon, so I think I'll stay home till at least Wednesday. I also caught a cold -- I have read stuff about the fuzzy headed thing - geesh, I have those problems sometimes. Well, before my explant I had it a lot more! I told my doc, but she just suggested I see a therapist. My insurance only covers $15 of each visit, so I told her I couldn't afford it. Anyway, I have felt better this week than I have in ages! I have a higher energy level, am more clear-headed, and my arms/breasts don't burn. Come to think of it, my bursitis hasn't been bothering me either (but then, that would come & go). I haven't noticed anything really bothering me. It's almost scary. Can I really feel this good when they've only been out less than a week? Especially when some of you are feeling bad for so long - and some are never over the problems the implants caused. I am sorry for those of you with problems that can't be corrected - but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here & encouraging the rest of us. If not for this list, I would probably still have my implants -- I wouldn't have been so quick to get rid of them. If not for this list, I would not be on my way to recovery like I am today. If not for this list, well, I'm crying -- I just can't thank you girls enough! If there is anyone here thinking about getting any kind of implants - Please, please research for a long time before you do it. And, here's hoping you'll decide against it. We are all beautiful - and if we need boobs to prove it to some man, then that man needs a brain implant. And if we need it to feel better about ourselves, we need to remember who we really are inside and what beauty there is. Perhaps those baggy boobs once fed a newborn. Perhaps those baggy boobs are what someone who's had a masectomy (or 2) would give their eye-teeth for. We earned those boobs, right along with those wrinkles & gray hair -- they're a badge of honor. If they're baggy - they must have once been big once, LOL. And if they're just little bug bites - count yourself lucky, you can go bra-less and your bras don't cost a fortune. You don't have to have padded straps. And you have a 1-2 pronger instead of a 4-5 pronger like the bigger ladies (hooks). I know I'm babbling here - time for me to go rest my arms. And my mouth....... Thank you ladies, for being there for me! hugs, peg
