Guest guest
From: skysailr@... [mailto:skysailr@...] Has anyone tried hypbaric chamber oxygen? Did it help any or did it make your condition worse? I've used *MILD* hyperbaric O2 treatments with great success. (I posted in exhaustive detail in June, see archives for my posts). Three weeks after treatment went dramatically downhill which I attribute to the " rabbit " incident (see archives for details). Am just now starting mild HBOT again. Took about 3 weeks to see benefits last time, so will post in 3 weeks to see if I can get the same success as before. Patti --

I feel this new chamber will be the ultimate answer, especially for those who need many treatments of hbot. This day as been long awaited by many. The price will hopefully be less than the average cost of 120 sessions of HBOT. Hartsoe > I am interested in renting/leasing a new or perhaps buying > a used chamber for my son. Are they ASME-PVHO approved?

Guest guest
Darin, I am a little confused and curious. Is this the same Darin that also sent this message: Your a good man that speaks what he feel's. Sometimes we may not all agree, Im proably your worst critic and it may seem like at times Im here to destroy you. But that is not the case. At times I see your true feelings and what you are trying to say with out saying it and at those times I try to get you to stop and think about it. Im the worst when it comes to speaking without thinking. I no. So don't beat yourself up over this. Darin > this is Darin just want to make sure you no who it is. Guest guest
It's true that traditional hospitals/centers won't do off label stuff. But there are freestanding clinics around the country that treat for brain trauma, cp, autism, lyme etc that would. Also mild chambers are available in many doctors' offices. You could call oxyhealth and they may be able to give you some doctors near you. Still, you have to pay. For a hardchamber usually $150-200/session. For a mild chamber, $50-75/session. > > > > hyperbaric chamber > > > > i have wanted to try this for years, but when i called MGH (mass > > general hospital), they said CFS and lyme are not illnesses for which > > they are allowed to offer the hyperbaric chamber. given this > > conundrum, how do we get access to one? jill may have mentioned this > > to me a while back, if so, apologies for the request for a repeat. > > > > rivka > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Now I remember--I do think you should try it first. At least several times. To be sure you're not claustrophobic, and that the oxygen is tolerable to you. It's hard for me to believe there aren't some chiropractors or ND's with mild chambers in Florida. Did you call oxyhealth, which is headquartered in California, to ask? Do you want me to email Lance Brubaker to see if he knows of any? Since they sell mainly to doctors. > > > > > > > > hyperbaric chamber > > > > > > > > i have wanted to try this for years, but when i called MGH (mass > > > > general hospital), they said CFS and lyme are not illnesses for > > which > > > > they are allowed to offer the hyperbaric chamber. given this > > > > conundrum, how do we get access to one? jill may have mentioned > > this > > > > to me a while back, if so, apologies for the request for a repeat. > > > > > > > > rivka > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
