Thanks for finally joining the bandwagon . If anyone needs a tax

deduction for their donation send it to the IHMA Foundation and we will

forward to . Either way the donation goes for her legal expenses. You

can also designate relief funds for other purposes as we have a separate

fund to help with treatment transportation, etc.

The Patient's Legal Assistance Defense Fund exists for the community to

respond to cases just like this. The community at the May Board Meeting

voted it into existence. If the community wants it to exist donations are

needed.

We thank all of you for supporting in her hour of need,

Anita (on my teammate's email)

Bill,

you make it sound as though I just joined the band wagon?

For your information, I have offered free hbot treatments to

Lief if can get her to Miracle Mountain. We have had

contact since this scenario began. I do not consider this a

bandwagon. We will join the bandwagon when we accomplish

something. 's problems is one of the reasons I am so

on edge right now. I have talked to news media, and tried

to talk to attorneys and hospital personnel for several

days.

There are several others doing everything they can. You

stated in a previous post that you got involved Friday. As

a matter of info, we have been involved for days.

Alene Creacy with the AAHA has spent many hours on the phone

with and with Congressional offices, and many other

contacts on s behalf. She is seeking no credit for

this. As soon as I asked her to see if she could help she

went into action also. I know she went for 24 hours without

sleep while working on this and supporting . The AAHA

is ready to fly Leif to Miracle Mountain if they release

her. We have a volunteer RN and our MD ready to help also.

Our MD is a pediatric pulmonary specialist and is always on

call.

This is not a case to brag about accomplishments, it is a

case to work on from our hearts and who gives a diddly squat

who gets credit as long as we accomplish something.

can verify everything I have said. This is not a

battle being fought and won only by the IHMA.

Please verify that it is not going to be necessary for us to

bring another attorney into the picture and that we can

depend on the IHMA to provide proper legal counsel. There

will need to be good legal representation at the actual

guardianship hearing. We need to know this is happening.

I have no proplem wih the IHMA taking the helm and the

credit if we are absolutely certain it is happening. We do

not need to be duplicating efforts and wasting money when we

can all combine our efforts on 's behalf.

All of this horse crap arguing between Bill, and Anita is getting very

old guys. Can't we all just get along and help ? Who cares who joined when

they did as long as we are all trying to help her as best we can? , I

think it is great that you have offered free treatments for Lief when she is

released. Don't take this wrong but you told me when I inquired about Miracle

Mountain that you didn't treat ventilator dependant children. I had to take my

son elsewhere for HBOT. Just wondering if you are making an exception because

its Lief or if you really don't treat vent dependant kids. My son is 15 months

and vent dependant. He did have 40 treatments by Dr. Peery in SC and did

amazing!!! Dr. Peery was the only facility willing to treat my son being that he

is vent dependant. Many thanks to Dr. Peery!

For me, I haven't made any calls but I have done some leg work. I bought Lief a

crib set, bouncer, clothes, diapers and I'm sending her clothes of my own child

to use when she gets home. I'm also sending a donation check to use

however she feels she needs to. Lord knows the girl needs to eat too!

Can we please stop trying to see who can come in first in the race and just help

get her precious daughter home where she belongs?

Sincerely,

Nikki

Nikki, we will have to bring in professional volunteers to

treat Lief. You should be appreciative that we were

concerned for your child and referred you elsewhere. It is

still our policy but in Lief's case, her life may depend on

it. Our techs have agreed not to charge us. As far as horse

crap, I agree. However, I have one goal in mind. If I have

to state what that goal is than I'm not doing much of a job

at anything, am I?

I hope everyone follows your example. And thanks for

kicking my butt, I'll try to do better. You may have to

kick it again. :-)
