Guest guest
It doesn't say which state it is from, is it Illinois? I can't believe that someone would do this. [MedicaidforHDOT] When there's no hope From http://www.pjstar.com/news/police/b2eecrpj046.html Mother charged in death of neglected 15-year-old CRYSTAL LAKE - In the last days of his life, 15-year-old Seamus M. Leonard was being fed by his siblings, and when he finally died he weighed just 23 pounds, authorities said Friday. His mother, Kathy Leonard, 44, of Crystal Lake, was being held Friday on $1 million bond after she was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of her son, who suffered from cerebral palsy. Leonard was being held in the McHenry County Jail and was scheduled to make another court appearance March 17. Authorities said emergency crews responding to a call at Leonard's filthy home Thursday morning found the teenager's body lying amid trash. An autopsy done Thursday afternoon revealed Seamus Leonard, who was about 4 feet tall, died of pneumonia, but malnutrition was listed as a contributing cause, McHenry County State's Attorney Pack said. " The condition of the victim is the most heart-wrenching you could see, " Pack said after Friday's hearing. " It is worse than a concentration camp victim. Just skin and bones. " Six other children at the home, ages 3 to 17, were taken into custody, police said. Some of the children occasionally fed the victim, but they told no teacher or neighbors of the conditions in the home, according to Pack. " The house was in absolute squalor, " Crystal Lake Police Chief Parth said. Filth, excrement and clothing, along with overturned items and litter from several cats were scattered throughout the house, according to Parth. Police and paramedics had difficulty finding a path through the home. ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Freels 2948 Windfield Circle Tucker, GA 30084-6714 770/491-6776 (phone) 770-234-5757 (fax) mailto:dfreels@... http://www.freelanceforum.org/df _._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._. Guest guest
, I have just finished reading your phone conversation with Dr. Hart wherein he states that he was ordered " not to include stroke " on the approved list for reimbursement by a very high US official. And the reason given is that it would break the bank, (cost the taxpayers too much) I suppose is what is meant. I for one appreciate your giving this to Ken for publication. You told me this over the phone about 2 years ago. And Hart told me essentially the same thing when I called him a short time after our conversation. Now that the true story is in print, and with Reagan slowly drifting away from Alzeimers's plus the hundreds of thousands who have been denied treatment for brain injury including my wife and your son Its about time some congressmen stepped up to the plate and said " I intend to get to the bottom of this, the truth. Its about time a congressional investigation was held that did not try to avoid he truth about HBOT. And we need a few courageous members of the media who will fully investigate this national scandal and report what they find. Currently the talk show hosts are spending h;o;ur after h;our, week after week, spending millions with stories like Kobe , , Martha and this devastating story about refusing medical assistance to the brain damaged lies fallow with those in the media either disbelieving or fearful it will damage their own reputation. Or that of the media owners they represent. What an utterly sad and disgusting situation. Captain Manson, USN Ret.
