Guest guest
Dear Hypercurious, There are several excellent clinics for the patient to attend: Dr. Neubauer in Fort Lauderdale, FL (Mono-place chambers) Dr. Perlmutter Naples, FL (Mono-place chambers) Dr. Harch, New Orleans, LA (Mono-place chambers) Dr. Cassidy, Santa , CA (Mono-place chambers) Ed Nemeth, Sacramento, CA (Mono-place chambers) Dr. Deckoff-, Springfield, MA (multi-place chamber) There are other good clinics, (some on this list) but I do not have the same first hand experience with them, or the physicians, so I cannot advocate them so strongly. Note, I am the father of a severely brain injured child, and am affiliated with the Santa clinic and have opened the clinic in Sacramento to focus on brain injuries. Guest guest
Hyperc, Dr. Deckoff- is a wonderful physician a great person and very well respected - she ran Stanford Medical Centers ER (and more) for a number of years before moving to Mass. I have no immediate plans for a multi-place chamber, unless I can convince one of the local hospitals to let me install and manage it for their patients. I prefer the mono-place chambers for most brain injury patients (like my daughter). That is my preference, and others have very good reasons to prefer the multi-place chambers for the same patients. They both provide 100% O2 under controlled pressure.... Please say Hello to Dr. Deckoff- when you speak with her. Guest guest
My apologies. Being owner/moderator of several lists over the years, when I see this I assume that something is fishy. I should not be so assumptious and you are correct, it was rude. Once again my apologies. Guest guest
I would highly recommend Chico Hyperbarics in N. CA. The staff are wonderful, EMT " S all, the multiplace is large and spotless . The town is fun, safe college town, easy to hang out in between dives. Malls, parks and movie theaters, plenty of places to eat etc. Between dives this can be a huge issue. They also have a great Medical Clinic 3 minutes away. I think the address is under CHico Hypperbarics on the web. Contact Mitch, he's the owner. He has two apts you can use. We really like going there. good luck,
