That is good news. A truly disinterested scientific study with the backing of

the UCP Research & Educational Foundation will certainly be a wonderful

accomplishment. Best of luck with you facility in Georgia as well.

My name is Grant and I am the President of Professional

Hyperbaric Associates, Inc. (ProHBO). I have placed a HBOT center in

Marietta, GA and also manage it. We opened in January and treat

alternative and traditional indications.

I wanted to inform the group of a recent accomplishment. I have made

arrangements with Atlanta Medical Center (AMC) to perform all SPECT

or PET scans for our patients. AMC will pre-cert each patient for

their insurance and if insurance will not cover the cost, AMC will

work out a rate for self pay. We are still working on the numbers.

AMC also listed the hyperbaric/SPECT relationship on the Nuclear

Medicine section of their web site the day after our initial meeting

last week.

I feel this is a great accomplishment. To see excitement from such a

large organization in relation to treating off-label indications is

a positive step.

In addition, I had a wonderful conversation with Dr. Goldstein at

the UCP Research & Educational Foundation about obtaining a grant

for a CP/HBOT study. I can't get into the details yet, but

everybody say some prayers because I am going for it.

That is great. Dr. Goldstein only believes in PET scans. If you have room

for additional patients in this study, my new Sacramento clinic is two

blocks from the UC Medical Campus and their PET scanner. They also

house the Shriners Hosptial (burn victims and CP children) and the M.I.N.D.

Institute (autism).
