Guest guest
Hi, is the osteopetrosis the genetic type? Has she been checked for autoimmune disease, immune complex disease, chronic virus infections, candidiasis of the GI tract? Urine organic acids? Cytokine activation? If you are going to turn her around, every possible problem needs to be carefully identified and corrected. I would try to keep her HBO pressures down to 1 1/3 ATA rather than increasing the pressure. I don't think SPECT scans are a good idea at all if you have to anesthetize the child to get the job done since these are poisons and injure the child further.
