We are home Here's the progress

September 27, 2002

Just to let you all know we are home from this round of 40 treatments. Katy

did very well. We tried her at 1.35 ata and had some draw backs so we went

back up to 1.5 ata and Katy did great. She is now tracking more than she ever

has before everyone at the center would take turns watching her in the

chamber tracking a stuffed animal we held over the chamber and moved it back

and forth. It was awesome. Katy has had a fixed pupil on the left eye for

some time due to the accident and now it has started responding to light it

never has before. She has had a great reduction in her spazticity and is

doing great there. Katy once had a baclofen pump the Dr.s feared Katy's

spazticity was going to break her bones when they first put it in her

spazticity was so bad. Now the pump is turned off and Katy is doing great.

HBOT has made a great difference in her life. I thank Dr. Neubauer for amking

all this possible. We went to lufkin Hyperbarics in Texas this trip and it is

awesoe. The center is fabulous. The work under the same outline as Dr.

Neubauer they follow his protocol very close. For he is the Godfather of

Hyperbarics. I love that man with all my heart he really cares for our Kid's.

Dr. Neubauer is in this for our kid's and you can tell it. I met a wonderfull

family in Lufkin I want you all to pray for they have three week's left

is the paitent and his mother is . Please pray for He has had 10

treatments and you can tell a difference allready. He seems much more relaxed

and his color is looking good. I know I ask you all to pray for Katy alot but

please pray for if you could only see the love the mother has for this

man is unbelivable. She is really dedicated to her son. It breaks your heart

to see her with him for her love for him just shines through. We all have

that I know. Lufkin is a really nice place and for the hotel price you can't

beat it. It cost's $15.00 a night at the Elliot house to stay. You can get

breakfast every morning at hire brothers just a block a way for $1.59

and lunch is like $2.99 and they have a deli for Dinner along with many

resturants in the area. This is a really nice place. The staff there is

incrediable. Tammy athan's mother and the director of the clinic goes out

of her way to make sure your stay is as nice as possible. Goodluck and
